(NEW VIDEO & PHOTO LINKS BELOW) Today is the yahrzeit of Shmuel HaNavi, and police made arrangements to accommodate the thousands of visitors to the Kever. Egged has implemented the 40-aleph bus which ran on Sunday night from 20:30 to midnight and will run the entire day on Monday to accommodate the many visitors to the Nabi Shmuel area near Ramot.
UPDATE: 4:40PM EST: Thousands of people gathered at the Kever of Shmuel Hanavi, which is between the Ramot and Givat Ze’ev neighborhoods of Yerushalayim – first
on Sunday night and Monday on the yartzheit of Chana and then on Monday night and Tuesday on the yartzheit of Shmuel Hanavi. Hundreds of soldiers and policemen were on the scene to secure the area and to keep the order. Various organizations provided free food and drink to all the people who came from near and far, some of them with the help
of the free shuttle busses that Egged provided, as they beseeched Hashem with their tefilos and bakashos at the kever of Shmuel Hanavi.

I think your mistaken. There is a Shaila if Shmuel Hanavi’s Yahrzeit is on 28 or 29 Iyar.
For all those out there celebrating Yom Yerushalayim on chaf-ches Eiar, Shmuel HaNavi transmited the bluiprints of the Bais Hamikdash from Hashem to Dovid and then to Shlomo, What a connection!!
