A number of Kassam rocket attacks were reported in the Greater Sderot Area on Shabbos.
In one attack, at about 13:15, a rocket slammed into a chicken coop in a Moshav in the Eshkol Regional Council injuring a Thai worker moderately in a hand. A second male was injured less seriously in the attack. There was extensive property damage.
Moshav residents pointed out that they are not connected to the Red Alert warning system and as such, are unaware of an incoming rocket.
The owner of the children coop stated that it appears the workers are unwilling to return to their jobs after the attack because they are too afraid.
