Labor Party cabinet ministers on Thursday morning told party leader Ehud Barak that he enjoys their support following the ultimatum delivered to Prime Minister Ehud Barak on Wednesday.
The ministers are lined up behind Barak, stating at present, the nation’s interests must dictate their actions above party concerns and all other considerations.
While Barak does not favor elections at this time due to his poor standing in the polls, Labor ministers are well-aware that it appears early elections are the most likely scenario as events continue to unfold.
