Shula Zaken, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s longtime assistance and former bureau chief will testify against him, Channel 2 News reported on Wednesday night.
Zaken’s attorney, Micha Pattman released a statement denying the accuracy of the report. Ynet reports that justice ministry sources also deny the report.
Channel 2 reported that Zaken cut a deal with the state to give testimony against Olmert in exchange for immunity and closing the case against her for her role in illegal activities as Olmert’s aide.
Zaken has been at Olmert’s side for over 30 years, his personal assistant at every stage of his career.
