Transportation Minister (Kadima) Shaul Mofaz, a former IDF chief of staff told Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) on Monday the current realities in Gaza are unacceptable, explaining Israel must dictate the day-to-day realities of southern residents, not Hamas.

Mofaz stated something must be done for the current state of affairs is intolerable and it may not be permitted to continue.

The former military commander stated the residents of the Greater Sderot Area cannot be expected to continue living under constant threat of Iranian rockets.
