Syrian Minister of Information Muhsen Bilal on Thursday night released a statement rejecting Israel’s preconditions for negotiations as per Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni.

Livni stated the Syrians must break away from Hamas and Iran.

In an interview with the Arab satellite news station al-Jazeera, Bilal stated that from Israel’s part, Jerusalem has already committed to withdrawing to the pre-June 1967 Six Day War boundaries.
