Alert IDF soldiers at Hawarah Checkpoint near Tapuach Junction in Shomron on Monday night detected a terrorist, firing at him before he could detonate the bombs he was carrying on his person.
Soldiers report that at about 19:00, they spotted the man in his 20s heading towards them, appearing suspicious, adding they saw wires protruding from his garment.
IDF Corporal Michael Yaakov reports that he saw the man, who appeared suspicious, directing him to the metal detector, which went off when he passed through. When instructed to lift his shirt, he complied and that is when bombs were seen strapped to the right side of his body.
Soldiers then pointed their weapons at him, instructing him to leave his hands in the air. When he put them down, presumably to reach for a detonator, the commander fired at him, aiming at the head in order not to detonate the explosive devices.

Nice work, Corporal.
That would explain the Deployment of Soldiers at every intersection in the area at about 6:30 PM yesterday evening. Good intel works !!
