Israel’s government is racist and does not have to be backed by those who support the Israelis and want peace, Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders said Tuesday during a CNN town hall event in Las Vegas.
The independent Vermont senator took questions from the audience along with fellow contenders for the Democratic nomination Pete Buttigieg and Sen. Amy Klobuchar.
“To be for the Israeli people and to be for peace in the Middle East does not mean that we have to support right wing racist governments that currently exist in Israel,” the veteran Vermont senator replied, much to the satisfaction of an applauding audience.
Sanders also spoke about the Gaza Strip:
“Take a look at what’s going on in Gaza right now. You got youth unemployment, 70 percent, you know people can’t even leave the area,” he said.
“What American foreign policy has got to be about in the Middle East is bringing the Israelis, bringing the Palestinians together under the banner of justice.”
Sanders said: “It cannot just simply be that we’re just pro-Israel and we ignore the needs of the Palestinian people.”
“We’ve got to pay attention to both and by the way, it’s not a dissimilar situation with regard to Iran and Saudi Arabia. For years, we have loved Saudi Arabia, our wonderful ally. Only problem is the people run that country are murderous thugs,” he said.

Typical leftist spin and lies. Billions in humanitarian aid has been funneled over the years, and not a dime was invested in the infrastructure. No factories, no business, and anything left intact by Israel was trashed. Concrete for buildings is redirected to build weapons plants. Tools are diverted to build tunnels. Money goes into weapons and ammo. All that Gaza exports is terror. So, wise guy, look at what’s going on in Gaza right now. No government, just a terror regime. There are no industries to have jobs, only weapons plants.
Gaza gets its electricity from Israel. Their plants need fuel, which will never reach the target, ending up in their military-terror equipment. Politicians get rich at the expense of foreign taxpayers. Children are not educated in normal subjects, only to hate and to murder. So, wise guy, you’re worried about them? They have made their people into a subhuman, savage culture. They are not civilized, and that is their own doing. Trump is correct. It is stupid to pour money down that rabbit hole. This is not racist. We don’t hate Islam. We hate terror. If you can’t figure that out, you are unworthy of public office.

If you are someone whose movement has always objected to the idea of Jewish peoplehood (as opposed to being a religion bound for the dust bin of history), the existence of a Jewish state is highly objectionable. And with the evolution of the Democratic party into an intolerant socialist party, we can expect this to be the position of the American government if the Democrats ever comeback to power. If Israel wishes to survive, they must be able to exist without American aid, guarantees and in spite of boycotts and bans that will prevent Israel from receiving financial aid from others, and certainly without buying weapons.
This man not only looks scary, he sounds scary. He sounds like a Jewish Hitler. May Hashem grant that he doesn’t get anywhere near the white house!
