As US President George W. Bush attended to diplomatic matters, First Lady Laura Bush visited a well-baby clinic in the capital, as well as a school in the Arab sector of the city.

Mrs. Bush confirmed the importance of such clinics, telling Mrs. Aliza Olmert, a big supporter of the clinics, that the support they give to mothers and fathers is imperative.

The First Lady visited an Arab-sector school, where children performed for her. She then was taken to the Kosel Tunnels, escorted by Kosel Rabbi Rabinovitch and other officials.
