The chareidi parties in Knesset, Shas and Yahadut Hatorah, decided to host a joint siyum of Shas, which will take place on Tuesday, 3 Teves, in Bnei Brak. Prior to the announcement, there was much discussion if Shas was going to agree to participate in a joint event with the two factions making up Yahadut Hatorah; Degel Hatorah and Agudas Yisrael.
There was much discussion, and for some time, it appeared that Shas was not interested in hosting a combined event, but now, there will be a combined event as well as an exclusive Shas event in Jerusalem.
The combined event will take place at the large lot on the road in the Bnei Brak corridor known as ‘אם המושבות’.
Organizations affiliated with the three parties are playing a hand in the arrangement and the siyum will reflect the character of all the parties. Gedolei Torah and members of the Moetzes Chachmei HaTorah of Shas, Agudas Yisrael and Degel Hatorah will be participating as well. This includes Rabbonim, Admorim, Roshei Yeshiva, Dayanim, and Magidei Shiurim.
According to Kikar Shabbos News, the event has already received a police permit so arrangement are moving ahead without delay.
Other large siyumim for the chareidi tzibur include Dirshu, the Shas party in the Jerusalem Arena Stadium and Agudas Yisrael, in the Arena Stadium as well.

Not sure why a siyum haShas must be politicle, but i guess it is good if it brings achdus.
That’s what we need. Unity.
The old saying that if there were 2 yidden stranded on a desert island, they would need 3 shuls so there would always be one site where BOTH could insist they would never daven in. I’m not aware if there are special or unique minhagim for a sephardeshe siyum but even if that is the case, they seem to have found a way to come together and BOTH sides should be applauded for this showing of achdus in the name of torah.
