Police and IDF forces during the night operated in the Yehuda district in search of illegal weapons and ammunition. Searches were conducted in the PA (Palestinian Authority) village of Dura in the Hebron district, where a pistol, magazines, an M-16 assault rifle and ammunition were confiscated. One person was taken into custody for questioning.

The operation was part of almost nightly operations to located and confiscate illegal weapons and ammunition as well as to arrest PA residents suspected of involvement in acts of terror or violence against security forces.
