‘Imagine a World Without Yesh Atid’

lapUsing his Facebook page to get the word out, Yesh Atid party leader Yair Lapid addressed a recent poll showing his party’s waning popularity. That poll showed 78% of respondents do not rely upon Yair Lapid as finance minister.

Lapid writes “Try to imagine a world without Yesh Atid, a world without peace negotiations, without changing the form of government.” He praised the recent success in increasing the minimum threshold to enter Knesset from 2% to 4%, explaining the changes that were spearheaded by his party give added stability to a coalition and government. He takes credit for the Open Skies program for the airline industry that was passed in April 2013
.

Lapid also believes Yesh Atid is responsible for ports reform, Israel Electric Company reform and bringing an end to free electricity for the utility’s workers. And he also adds that his party was instrumental in compelling the Teva Company to hand over 400 million NIS in taxes.

  1. Now that YWN is posting an inverted picture of Lapid, his days are numbered. Who can forget that YWN started posting Ahmadinajhad’s inverted photo more than 5 years ago, and, five years later, he is out of office.

“and he makes the sun rise in the east and set in the west”

Problem is, he promised the country he’d make the sun rise in the west and set in the east, and he hasn’t delivered. That’s why 78% really ARE imagining life without Yesh Atid. Because all the while that the sun’s been rising in the east and setting in the west, things have been working, and changing the direction of the sun (so to speak) won’t solve any problems.
