Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon is expected to announce his resignation from politics in the coming days, Globes Financial News reports.
According to the report, Kahlon has informed those close to him that he plans to retire from political life in the coming days.
Kahlon began his Knesset career in the 16th Knesset in 2003. He was a member of Likud, and he is credited with the cellular telephone rates reform.
He then formed his Kulanu party, which did not fare well in the 20th Knesset, dropping to four seats from ten. As such, he ran under a combined Likud ticket in the next election but did not add additional seats to Likud.
