Israel: Poll Shows Left-Wing Overtakes Right-Wing Bloc


The latest Yisrael Hayom newspaper election poll shows the left-wing bloc in Knesset has overtaken the right-wing bloc, which maintained the majority throughout the election for 22nd Knesset. The poll places the left-wing at 57 seats and the right-wing at 56.

According to the poll, if elections for Knesset were held today, Blue & White would earn 34 seats and Likud 33.

It is important to report that most participants in the poll responded before the announcement by Attorney General Mandelblit to indictment PM Netanyahu.

  1. In reality, based on their positions (rather than personalities), Likud and “Blue-White” should be consider the “Centrist” block, which all polls show winning a majority.
