A six-year-old boy was seriously injured after he was struck by a bus on Rashbi Street in Modi’in Illit on Monday. The accident occurred just after 5:00 p.m. The boy was treated at the scene by emergency services and suffered a severe head wound. After receiving initial treatment, he was transported to Tel Hashomer Hospital for treatment.

United Hatzalah volunteer EMT Yisroel Bekker who was one of the first responders at the scene to treat the boy relayed: “A young boy, a pedestrian, was hit by a bus. When I arrived I provided emergency medical treatment together with other first responders who arrived at the scene. He suffered a severe head injury as well as injuries to his upper body and limbs. He was in serious condition when he was transported to the hospital.”
