Knesset Speaker BLASTS Arab Joint List For Criticizing IDF Operation: “Missiles From Gaza Don’t Differentiate”

Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein slammed the members of the Arab Joint List for their reaction to the IDF operation which eliminated top Islamic leader Baha Abu Al Ata overnight Monday.

Joint List leader MK Ayman Odeh criticized Prime Minister Netanyahu for approving the elimination of Abu Al Ata, saying he did it only for political advantage.

“The only voices we heard this morning that didn’t express support for the IDF operation came from the Joint List,” Edelstein said. “The Joint List were the only ones who came out with political statements claiming that the elimination was a political decision.”

“These statements further clarify how irresponsible all this talk is of forming a government with the support of the Joint List.”

Edelstein added that the statements from the Arab Joint List show that the opposition to a coalition with them has “nothing to do with the ethnic origin of this or that Knesset member. It is a basic approach regarding the security of Israeli citizens: Jews, Arabs, Druze or Circassians. The missiles from Gaza don’t differentiate.”

  1. Include them into the government! What’s wrong!

They should be dismissed from the knesset just as Kahane z”l was for similar messages.

  2. The Israeli government cannot stand while divided. In order for them to be able to function and act during this time of war, they must be able to concur on decisions as a unified parliament instead of as a collection of personas, each with their own agendas and opinions.
