Tonight, Benny Gantz of the Blue & White Party received a cold welcome when arriving at a Chasunah in Bnei Brak.
Gantz was attending the wedding of a child of MK Yaakov Asher of Yahadut Hatorah.
As can be seen in the videos attached below, upon his arrival at the wedding hall, Gantz was jeered by some Yeshiva Bochrim yelling “only Bibi”…”go to the Arabs”…”go to Ahmed Tibi”…”get out of here”…”terrorist”…
Meanwhile, when Gantz entered the wedding hall, he was warmly greeted by MK Asher, who immediately began dancing with him.
The band played “Ah Gantz Yur Freilach” in honor of “Gantz’, and eventually played “L’binyomim Omar” from Avraham Fried – a song usually played in honor of PM Netanyahu.

I’m ashamed! What was achieved? Why must we shoot ourselves in the leg? In fact, a bigger swipe would have been if he was ignored! And a chillul Hashem certainly then would have been avoided!

just the kind of conduct we need to win the “traditionalist but not frum” over to our side and the side of Torah. Now how many people will assume that being raised a yeshiva bochur will only lead to disrespect and public misbehavior? Who will say, “Happy are those who taught him Torah?” when they see this?
Smart of MK Asher to invite Gantz to the wedding because, as @philosopher said, the chareidim just might have to deal with Gantz as PM.
