SECURITY/DEFENSE:

*Kassam rockets land in Sderot during the early afternoon hours on Sunday. Multiple mortar shells landed near Kissufim earlier. Later in the day, at about 3PM, a rocket landed near a school bus transporting children. Some of the children were treated for hysteria. Another round of rockets fell at about 16:30. No injuries.

*An Israeli motorist was lightly injured in a rock-throwing attack near Kalandia, on Jerusalem’s northern border. He was transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.

*3 Arab youths, who infiltrated into southern Israel from Gaza, were detected and apprehended in fields in Kibbutz Ba’ari. No injuries.

*Terrorists late Sunday night opened fire at an IDF patrol along the Gaza border in the Kissufim area. No injuries were reported.

POLITICS, DOMESTIC & MORE:

*Firefighters late Sunday afternoon responded to a reported blaze in the basement of Tel Aviv City Hall.

*Jerusalem planning officials have approved the new bridge permitting access to Har HaBayit, the Temple Mount.

*Minister of Environmental Affairs Gideon Ezra to be appointed Minister of Tourism.

*United Nations demanding a probe into last week’s death of a Gaza teacher.
