On Sunday morning close to 7:00AM, a fatal vehicular accident occurred on Route 40 near Moshav Yashresh, a few kilometers from Ramle, in which a scooter appears to have skidded out of control. MDA paramedic arrived on the scene along with United Hatzalah responders, reporting a 40-year-old male was killed as a result of multisystem trauma. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

ZAKA responded to address kovod hameis. Police accident investigators also responded to the scene.

United Hatzalah EMT Ohr Chaim Levi reports “A scooter driver skid off onto the shoulder and sustained multisystem trauma. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead on the scene due to massive injuries”.

MDA EMT Edan Sinai added, “The unconscious scooter driver was lying on the side of the road with his scooter on top of him. We checked him but due to his massive injuries, he was pronounced dead on the scene.”
