Once again, issues on Israel Railways that left many Thursday morning passengers irritated and late for work. The cause, the vehicle of a contractor working on the tracks got stuck, compelling a halt of train service on the Jerusalem Ben-Gurion Airport line.
Service on the Jerusalem Ben-Gurion Airport line of Israel Railways was halted once again, during the Thursday morning rush hour, as a service vehicle on the tracks broke down, compelling the shut down of service to Jerusalem’s Navon Station and Modi’in. Buses were provided to permit irritated passengers to reach their destinations.
The interruption on the Jerusalem Ben-Gurion line is yet another of many services outages on the line, leaving many passengers wondering if there will ever be normal train service between the two destinations.
Israel Railways stated that with the removal of the service vehicle, service was resumed.
