MDA responded to a call in the Carmel district for an overturned vehicle on Derech Rupin in Haifa.

When ambulances arrived on the scene on Monday afternoon, EMS personnel found two injured persons, a man and a woman in their 60s, with injuries to his head and her extremities.

As seen in the accompanying photo, the vehicle drove off the road and partially flipped into ditch. The two were extricated from the vehicle by firemen.

They were transported to Rambam Hospital emergency room in “stable” condition.
