Likud Activist May Testify Against Olmert

It appears that in addition to testimony from Moshe (Morris) Talansky, there is another key state witness, a yet unnamed Likud activist, a female.

According to investigative journalist Yoav Yitzchak, the woman left Israel some eight years ago and today resides in the United States. She is currently in Israel and is expected to meet with Israel Police representatives this week. She is or has been connected in the past with philanthropist Ron Lauder and is currently affiliated with right-wing non-profit organizations. To date, she has not been granted the status of a state witness and it is unlikely that she has been guaranteed immunity from prosecution at this time.

The news of a “Likud activist” has prompted supporters of the prime minister to allege the entire police investigation and damaging reports against the prime minister is “politically motivated”.
