Police entered Jerusalem’s Meah Shearim neighborhood and arrested a 16-year-old teenager wanted for throwing rocks at police recently. Unlike most cases in which police enter the community, the arrested passed without incident.

Police arrived at 6:30AM, and headed directly to the home of the suspect, where he was taken into custody for assaulting police.

A week ago, police came under attack when they entered Meah Shearim during the evening hours. Police fled, but it was certain they would return to arrest suspects in the attack. Police were attacked with stones and other items as well as some directing laser beams at them to blind their vision.
