The police dispatcher received many calls from southern Eilat residents on Friday night Parshas Eikev – reporting loud explosions in the area. The IDF and police investigated, reporting there is no evidence of rocket fire from Sinai into the southern resort city.

Nevertheless, for area residents there is no doubt—insisting they are too familiar with the sound of rockets impacting in the area and they are convinced this was another case of the same rocket fire from Sinai.
