The IDF identified an unmanned aviation vehicle some 12,000 feet above the Gaza Strip. This height is incredibly high and very unusual.

The IDF promptly dispatched a squadron of fighter jets to engage and destroy the vehicle. This is a new and worrying feat accomplished by the terror groups in Gaza to fly a vehicle more than 10,000 feet high.

A high-ranking officer in the IAF told a military reporter that: “Terror groups in Gaza are tying us in a number of different styles and fashions over the past month in an effort to see which methods of attack they can use against in future conflicts. With any threat that comes from the Gaza Strip, we will respond with sufficient force. Therefore, I recommend that terror organizations do not test us. Don’t test the IDF, for we are stronger and more ready than we have ever been.”
