Last year was a blessed one for the Kinneret, which gained far more than in any of the past recent years. Baruch Hashem, during the summer months, the Kinneret only lost 60cm (25.5 inches), far less than was predicted.
According to reports, last winter, the Kinneret gained 3.5 meters (11.5 feet), and normally, during summer months, far more water is lost, not just from pumping but due to evaporation during the hot period.
So, we are once again witness to the chessed of HKBH, both during last winter and this past summer, and we continue being mispallel that this coming winter will bring additional rainfall to the Kinneret and wherever else it is needed in Eretz HaKodesh without harm to anyone or area.
