A new Magen David Adom station was inaugurated on Porush Street in Ramat Beit Shemesh towards improving EMS response time in the area. The station will be manned by EMTs and paramedics, providing an emergency medical response to the community.

The festive event took place last Thursday, Chol Hamoed Sukkos, with the participation of Beit Shemesh Mayor Dr. Aliza Bloch, former mayor, MK Rabbi Moshe Abutbul, MDA Jerusalem District Chief paramedic Yossi Petrover and other local and national elected officials.

The station was funded by Friends of MDA in the UK, and it is named in memory of Eli Benson Z”L, a former director-general of the organization and his wife Anita A”H.
