United Hatzalah EMS personnel responded to an emergency that saw a 50-year-old man fall from a height while he was attempting to install an air conditioning unit in a building on KK”L Street in Kiryat Bialik.

The man was an installation professional who, according to witnesses, slipped while installing the unit.

United Hatzalah volunteer EMT Yisrael Meir Menachem was one of the first responders at the scene and gave the following statement: “Witnesses told us when we arrived that the man was an air conditioning technician who was in the middle of installing a new unit when he fell. Unfortunately, after attempts to revive the person failed, his death was pronounced at the scene due to the severity of injuries that he suffered.”

A name was not released.
