Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) reported on Friday afternoon that right-wing activists who took up position in the northern Shomron communities of Chomesh and SaNur left the area before Shabbos.
The activists came to the area with IDF permission on Thursday, Independence Day, and returned on Friday, setting up tents and preparing to remain for a prolonged period of time.
In an agreement reached with security forces, the activists left the area without conflict.
SaNur and Chomesh were dismantled by the government of Ariel Sharon, along with Gush Katif, as part of the 2005 Disengagement Plan.
