Three vehicles were set ablaze near their homes in Moshe Even Sapir in the Jerusalem district.

According to police, they were summoned at 12:40AM on Tuesday morning, responding with the fire department to reports of parked vehicles on fire in Moshav Even Sapir, located southwest of Jerusalem. It did not take too long until the fires were brought under control. B’chasdei Hashem there were no injuries and firefighters succeeded in extinguishing the fires before they spread to the nearby homes.

Police believe the fires were the result of arson and a criminal investigation is underway. The findings of the investigation will be turned over to the Fire Service’s legal department.

Moshav Even Sapir is located on the outskirts of Jerusalem, in the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council.
