Historical visit of Ravaad Eida Chareidis HaGaon HaRav Moshe Sternbuch Shlita to Rehovot Yeshiva Maor HaTalmud, the Yeshiva of HaGaon HaRav Simcha Hacohen Kook Shlita.

Rav Sternbuch gave great chizuk to the hundreds of talmidim before Rosh Hashanah and especially on the importance of kavona in one’s tefilos.

A great percentage of boys whose parents made aliyah earlier in their lives are talmidim in the yeshiva. Rav Sternbuch told the boys that before he came to live in Eretz Yisroel many years ago HaGaon Rav Mordechai Pogramansky ZT”L asked him if he feels that he is ready to go to Eretz Yisroel since before he comes he has to know that every instance of loshon hara in Eretz Yisroel is much more severe than in Chutz La’aretz, therefore the boys have to realize the great responsibility they have.

Thereafter the Ravaad expressed the great zechus Rav Kook has by making such a revolution in the Yiddishkeit of Rehovot.
