Police on Monday announced the arrest of a suspect in an assault which took place in the area of the Dung Gate entrance to Jerusalem’s Old City.
Police were called to the area on Sunday, with a chareidi man reporting he was attacked while heading to the Kosel, resulting in damage to his eyeglasses.
When police arrived on the scene, they took a statement from the victim and this led to the apprehension of a 16-year-old Arab male. He was later arrested in his home in the eastern capital.
He was taken into custody and is scheduled for arraignment in the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court.

And if he wasn’t chareidi, he’d wouldn’t have been assaulted? Or it wouldn’t have been news on YWN? What difference does it make it the victim is chareidi? A Jew is a Jew is a Jew.
