Arab MK Ayman Odeh, a member of the Joint Arab List in Knesset, secretly met with senior members of the extremist tzibur in Meah Shearim. The meeting was held with a total media blackout, hosted in a room in the Meah Shearim Shuk area to discuss the draft law and police violence.
The extremist have been working and protesting against the draft law, insisting there can be no compromise and bnei yeshivos may not serve in the IDF under any conditions.
According to a Kikar Shabbos News report, it was agreed upon that prior to voting on any version of a new draft law, the members of the Arab list will discuss the details with the leaders of the extremist community, and they will discuss how to vote on the bill.
As the meeting moved ahead, they spoke about police brutality, with Odeh claiming the Arab and chareidi communities are the main victims of continued Israel Police brutality.
There was a photographer present, but when Odeh arrived in the room, he was asked to leave the premises.

The only long term alternative to drafting the Hareidim (clearly intended with the hope it will destroy the Hareidim community, thereby realizing the zionist dream of an Eretz Yisrael “free” from the yoke of Torah) is to convince the Israelis to end conscription. It is wise that Hareidim and Arab anti-zionists work together.
don’t call them extremists, they lived there many generations there way before there was any goverment, living without going to the army. Because they disagree with your approach doesn’t mean they are wrong. Be neutral
This is what we’ve come to. The Eida or peleg meeting with an arab mk who says that arabs killing Jews is ok since it is against the “occupation”. Rebono Shel Olam! Meeting with murderers. What’s next? Making a hafgana for palistinians? Meeting with Iran like the Netura Karta? Shame! They deserve to be taken to the Army!
a feine shidduch. zeh zollen boyen a bayis ne’eman be’gehinnom.
They’re extremists because they’re collaborating with the enemy.
And yes, the obvious solution to the whole problem is to end conscription, but the only party that championed this approach, Zehut, was wiped out.
