Two Charedi Infants Injured in Bnei Brak In a Number of Hours


Two charedi children were severely injured in separate incidents in Bnei Brak on Tuesday. The first incident took place at the home of the first infant whose had was partially detached. Volunteer EMT with United Hatzalah Yaakov Yisroel Malka who was the first responder on the scene said: “Together with other volunteers I treated the the young boy who was two-years-old for his injury. I bandaged the hand and immobilized it. He was then transported to the hospital by Refael Ambulance service for further care and treatment.”

In a second traumatic incident in the city that took place only a few short hours after the first, a piece of a game got caught on a young girl’s finger. The girl, just one-year-old was in severe pain and panic. United Hatzalah volunteer EMT  and Chapter Head of the Bnei Brak Region arrived at the scene and treated the young girl. “I treated the girl and then transported her in a United Hatzalah ambulance to the new children’s department in Mayanei HaYeshua hospital. She was bleeding due to having a steel piece of the game stuck in her finger. The doctors at the hospital worked with exceptional care and professionalism and extricated the piece from her finger.
