HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita is already traveling from northern to southern Eretz Yisrael as the election for 22nd Knesset is scheduled to take place next Tuesday, September 17, 2019.

Yahadut Hatorah is hopeful that by having the Gadol Hador participate in election events, some who might otherwise not plan to vote, or vote for a different party, will vote for Yahadut Hatorah.

According to reports, the Rav will be in the south on Wednesday, arriving in Ofakim during the evening hours to take part in a major Degel Hatorah gathering. A similar atzeres is scheduled to take place the following day in the north, in Rechasim. The Gadol Hador is also expected to attend other election events, and on Thursday, the major atzeres in Yerushalayim, with the participation of other Gedolei Torah.
