Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman attacked Yair Lapid, referring to him as a “contagious disease” in response to Lapid’s recent harsh attacks against the chareidi tzibur as part of his election campaign. Litzman stressed he will only back Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.
Litzman was interviewed by KAN Reshet Bet Radio explaining that to date, Yahadut Hatorah would not join a coalition with Benny Gantz as long as he is partnered with Yair Lapid. In the past, things between the chareidim and Gantz were okay, but things have changed, and today, Litzman is angry at Benny Gantz too and he will not be in a coalition with someone who is friends with Lapid, who he labeled a “contagious disease”.
He added, “anyone with a hate for religion – I believe that there is anti-Semitism”.
His remarks received a harsh response from his interviewer, but Litzman held his ground, refusing to apologize.
When asked why they maintain such a connection with Netanyahu, he explained that Mr. Netanyahu is good for Yahadut Hatorah. “You must know one thing; we went with Netanyahu and things were good in the last term. He honored agreements more or less”.

Hey Litzman. Bibi’s a lot better than Lapid?! There all apikorsim gemurim. The slight difference is, Bibi is pandering to Chareidim for votes cuz he cant win otherwise and Lapid isn’t. They both love you equally. If u call one diseased then they’re all.
I certainly despise Lapid, but this is coming from Litzman?? A man who uses his power and influence to protect pedophiles including Leifer??
