A massive fire was raging at the Haifa Port on Thursday afternoon, after a warehouse containing 80 tons of oil caught fire.

The fire sent thick black smoke into the sky which was seen for miles.

A large fire fighting team from Haifa and other regions rushed to contain the blaze.

According to reports, one firefighter suffered a leg injury.

The fire forced the closure of the Haifa port to all maritime traffic.
