The Likud party has arranged for a security guard for MK Chaim Bitan, the former Knesset coalition chairman who faces criminal indictment for alleged white collar crimes. Bitan parked his vehicle near the party’s Metzudat Ze’ev headquarters in Tel Aviv, and the windshield of the vehicle was smashed. The incident took place on Monday.
In his tweet, Bitan explains how his vehicle is clearly identified with Likud, as one can see a party poster in the rear left window in the photo.
Bitan is filing an official police complaint. At this time, it is unclear if the act was against Bitan personally or against Likud.
