Ayelet Shaked, who is the head of the Yemina party, is warning against a Likud-Blue & White coalition after Knesset elections. “It is clear to me that Netanyahu wants Gantz in his government. The fact that they attack Lapid and not Gantz is the proof” she explains.

Shaked was interviewed on Monday at the National Economic Conference 2019 and addressed the formation of the next coalition government after the election on September 17, 2019. She added “Benny Gantz will never be Prime Minister. We will recommend Netanyahu”.

Shaked is working hard to bring back voters who may be contemplating casting a ballot for Likud in the election, as Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has been working hard to bring right-wing voters onboard, explaining “only a strong Likud as the largest party in Israel will guarantee that Gantz does not form the next government and thereby preventing a left-wing government”.

Interestingly, Shaked is reporting that Likud cannot be trusted, and Netanyahu will betray his ‘natural’ coalition partners and set up the next coalition with Blue & White.
