Some good news for drivers in Israel, as the price of gas will drop by 19 agorot a liter on motzei Shabbos at midnight.
The price for a liter of 95 octane will cost NIS 6.07 including VAT at the self-service pump. This represents a reduction of 19 agorot a liter as compared to last month. For drivers preferring full-service pumps, the price is an additional 21 agorot a liter, the same as it stands today, in August.
For one wishing to compare; a liter of 95 octane gasoline costing NIS 6.07 a liter is the equivalent of $6.89 a US gallon, based on the Bank of Israel official exchange rate at closing time Wednesday, August 28, 2019 of $1 = NIS 3.52.
The price for a liter of fuel in Eilat will be 16 agorot less expensive per liter as compared to August.
