According to a report from the private investigations company which was hired by the Blue & White party, a suspected cyber breach has been detected. An in depth probe revealed that Russians have breached the phone of all campaign heads.
Following the reports, the Russian embassy in Tel Aviv released a statement denying the reports.
CGI Group, which Gantz hired to investigate a series of leaks from the party, said it was a “powerful and unprecedented attack by Russian hackers, a type we have never before encountered,” Israel’s Channel 12 reported Wednesday.
Back in March, there were reports that the smartphone of Benny Gantz was breached by the Iranians.
The party recently an investigations company (CGI) to find the mole who was leaking campaign secrets. The report submitted to Gantz by the private investigations company does provide information pertaining to a cyber breach.
News12 reports that during the investigation into the leaks, which cost the party NIS 500,000 for the services of the CGI Intelligence Company, it was learned the phones of all campaign leaders were comprised, including party leader Benny Gantz, campaign head Ido Hartov, campaign advisor Ronen Moshe and Hod Batzar.
The report recommends turning to police, but Blue & White officials have not filed an official complaint, reports News12 correspondent Amit Segal.
Blue & White officials explain that efforts were made to learn of the party’s campaign as there are some who fear the party will succeed in the election. Party leaders turned to cyber security experts and learned that there are no infected phones, and they have taken steps to improve security around the campaign leaders.
Party officials also reject statements from Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, insisting there was no high-level confidential security numbers or data on Gantz’s phone, nor embarrassing videos, and he was never targeted by attempted blackmailers.

Well that sounds familiar! But, if they “strongly deny it”, they must be telling the truth. Just ask our presidunce.
Well, if Russia denies it, they must be completely innocent.
