IDF forces working with border police operated in Kfar Khil in the Yehuda district during the night. Engineering corps troops mapped the homes of three terrorists suspected in the August 7, 2019 stabbing attack that claimed the life of hesder talmid, IDF Corporal Dvir (Yehuda) Sorek HY”D.

His lifeless body was found near the entrance to Migdal Ohz where he learned, as he was attacked as he returned from Yerushalayim. He bought seforim to give out to his rabbonim before leaving the limud portion of his hesder service to enter the IDF.

The soldiers mapped out the homes for the placement of explosives to detonate the structures if given the order. The force encountered violent disturbances, attacked with stones and burning tires. B’chasdei Hashem, there were no injuries. Soldiers used non-lethal riot-control adjuncts to restore order and distance attackers.
