Poll: More Parties Will Recommend that Bibi Receive the Presidential Mandate Following Elections


A new poll commissioned by News12 reveals Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has more parties planning to recommend he receive the presidential mandate to form a coalition government than MK Benny Gantz, who heads the Blue & White party. This being said, neither party currently has the ability to amass 61 MKs for a simple majority, without MK Avigdor Lieberman and his Yisrael Beitenu party.

Likud: 30
Blue & White: 30
URWP: 11
Joint Arab List: 11
Yisrael Beitenu: 10
Yahadut Hatorah: 8
Shas: 7
Democratic Israel: 7
Labor/Gesher: 6

Otzma Yehudit (2.3%) and Gesher (1.9%) fail to meet the minimum electoral threshold to enter Knesset, 3.5%.

Blocs:
Right-wing/chareidi 56
Left-wing/centrist 43

The 10 seats of the Yisrael Beitenu party are not included in the blocs.

The poll reveals that 65% of persons who said they are voting Likud are certain regarding their selection compared to only 50% of Blue & White voters, 38% of Yisrael Beitenu voters and 32% of Labor/Gesher voters.
