Police and Yedidim were summoned on late Monday morning after passersby heard what sounded to them as thumping from inside an Audi parked in the lot of a building in the Kiryat Herzog area of Bnei Brak, fearing perhaps a child locked himself in accidentally. The responders first received the incorrect address, and they arrived on Herzog Street on the west side of the city. They eventually received the correct address and both police and Yedidim arrived at Herling Street in Kiryat Herzog.
Yedidim deputy CEO Lazi Stern was among those on the scene, and when they checked the vehicle in question, they too heard the thumping from inside the trunk.
Shortly after attempting to open the vehicle, they realized it had a “vacuum lock” which is not easily opened. Police succeeded in locating the owner of the vehicle, who told them that he is aware of a problem with the vehicle’s trunk, which from time-to-time begins making a thumping sound. Once police were given the information by the owner, there was no longer a fear that someone may be in the trunk and police and Yedidim volunteers left the scene.

It sounds weird that the car’s trunk makes noises from time to time even when the car is still, and i hope the police were sensible enough to open the trunk anyways & see what’s inside. There are too many meshugaim out there to trust the owner by his word of mouth.
OPEN THE TRUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
