A major party has been approved by the Tel Aviv Municipality in Ganei Yehoshua for the first day of Rosh Hashanah.
According to the Kikar Shabbos News report, at least 8,000 participants are expected to attend the party R”L on the first day of the yomtov. When asked to comment, Tel Aviv City Hall explains the party is not an event hosted by the city and therefore, it cannot comment on the event, which is expected to be accompanied by music and levity.
However, Kikar News adds that the public area in the Yarkon Park is under the auspices of City Hall and without municipality approval, the party cannot be held at that venue.
It is pointed out that there are Agudas Yisrael and Bayit Yehudi councilman in the Tel Aviv coalition, while the Shas party is in the opposition.

As heinous as this maybe, not as bad as this would be on a regular Shabbos, since Chilul Shabbos carries Sekilo, whereas Chilul Yom-Tov carries lesser penalty of Malkos.
