As Israel prepares to observe Memorial Day on Wednesday, a day on which we remember members of security forces who fell in the line of duty and victims of Arab terror, Bituach Leumi (National Insurance Institute) reports 1,634 Israelis were murdered in terror attacks and 14,000 wounded since the establishment of the state in 1948.

The official state ceremony for terror victims will be held on Wednesday, Memorial Day, at 1:00pm in Mount Herzl Military Cemetery in Jerusalem.
