The latest TGI poll of the media, including chareidi radio in Israel, shows the Kol Berama Radio station has made a significant gain, 115%!
There is still a gap between Kol Berama and the leader, Kol Chai, but one cannot ignore the gain. The gap between them is almost non-existent, now standing at a mere 0.3% due to Kol Berama’s major gain.
The new poll shows that Kol Chai has 5.5% of the audience, a decline of 4.8%, following its recent downhill pattern over the last months.
Kol Chai is the station backed by Shas, as Kol Berama is viewed as the enemy. This is taken to the extreme, with Shas and its supporters instructed not to interview with Kol Berama. Rishon L’Tzion HaGaon HaRav Yitzchak Yosef Shlita abuses his civil service post, barring Kol Berama from airing or recording his weekly shiur, giving Kol Chai exclusivity. Shas has taken similar steps to harm the station, affiliated with his nemesis Eli Yishai, but it appears their efforts have been for naught.
