The IDF is improving its readiness for the next military confrontation in Gaza. A multi-day training exercise began on Sunday and will continue until Wednesday morning.

The exercise began on Sunday afternoon in Ashkelon and the Gaza border area, the IDF Spokesman’s Office reported. The training event is being conducted on the division level, and it was planned ahead as part of overall training in 2019.

The exercise is scheduled to end on Wednesday morning, and during the training event, there will be a visible increase in military and emergency vehicles in those areas, along with planes and choppers overhead.
