During an undercover operation, police gathered evidence leading to the arrests of a 19-year-old female and a 17-year-old male, accused of dealing in drugs to youths in Bnei Brak.
16 persons who bought drugs from the two were interviewed by police, three of them minors, and police learned they use the Telegram app to conduct their business – selling their drugs to anyone with money, regardless of one’s age.
Police last week arrested the 19-year-old female from Rishon L’Tzion along with the 17-year-old male from the center of the country. On last Thursday, they were arraigned before the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court. The prosecution on Sunday submitted its position paper against the two ahead of the actual indictment that is still being prepared.
Yesterday, YWN reported that a Bnei Brak man was sentenced to four years for smuggling seven kilos of cocaine from Amsterdam into Israel.
