Bereaved families from Operation Protective Edge, the IDF counter-terrorism operation in Gaza during the summer of 2014, will on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, hold a solidarity event with the Goldin and Shaul families, together with the state memorial for those who fell in the battle. The banner for the solidarity event is “Operation Protective Edge is not over until the return of Oren and Hadar”, referring to the soldiers whose bodies were taken by Hamas terrorists, Lt. Hadar Goldin HY”D and Sgt. Oren Shaul HY”D.

The event will take place at 4:30PM in the parking area outside the National Memorial Har at Har Herzl in Yerushalayim. Combatants who fought alongside the two soldiers will be participating in the event.
